Registration and account
4.1 Creating an account
To access our tuition services, you will need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to keep your account details updated at all times.
4.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
4.3 One account per student
Each student must have their own individual account. Account credentials must not be shared with other students or third parties.
4.4 Minimum age
Accounts for students under 18 years must be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for all enrolment decisions, payments, and communications on behalf of the student.
Parent and student responsibilities
5.1 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate details about the student's class, syllabus, school, and current academic level when enrolling. Incorrect information may result in mismatched teaching and does not qualify for a refund.
5.2 A suitable learning environment
The student is responsible for attending classes in a reasonably quiet environment with a stable internet connection, a working camera, and a microphone.
5.3 Respectful conduct
All students and parents are expected to treat teachers and Angle Tuition staff with courtesy and respect. Abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour, whether during a class, via chat, or in written communication, may result in suspension or termination of services without a refund.
5.4 Regular attendance
Consistent attendance is essential for progress. We encourage parents to help students attend scheduled classes regularly and to inform the assigned mentor as early as possible if a class needs to be rescheduled.
5.5 Honest representation
You must not misrepresent the student's identity, academic level, or board to gain access to materials, pricing, or teacher allocation that would not otherwise apply.
Class scheduling and attendance
6.1 Scheduling flexibility
Class timings are agreed between the student (or parent) and the assigned mentor at the time of enrolment. We aim to build a schedule that works around the student's school hours and family commitments. Schedules can be adjusted during exam seasons with reasonable notice.
6.2 Time zones
For students based outside India (including GCC countries), class timings will be scheduled in the student's local time zone as agreed during onboarding. Any disputes about time-zone differences that arise after scheduling will be resolved by the assigned mentor.
6.3 Class credits and advance payment
Classes are organised on a credit basis. You purchase a block of class hours in advance, and these hours are deducted as classes are attended. Classes will only be scheduled when sufficient credit hours are available.
6.4 Class duration
Standard class sessions are 60 minutes in duration unless an alternative duration is explicitly agreed in writing between the parent and Angle Tuition.
6.5 Lateness
If a student joins a class more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the full class duration will still be deducted from the student's credit hours. The teacher will make every reasonable effort to complete the planned lesson in the remaining time.
6.6 Teacher absence
If a scheduled class is missed due to teacher unavailability and the student was not informed at least 2 hours in advance, the credit hours for that class will be returned. We will make every effort to provide advance notice of teacher absences.
Cancellations and rescheduling
7.1 Student cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, please notify your assigned mentor at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Classes cancelled with less than 4 hours' notice will be deducted from your credit hours as if the class had taken place.
7.2 Repeat last-minute cancellations
A pattern of repeated last-minute cancellations may affect the assignment of your preferred teacher and time slot. Your mentor will speak to you if this becomes a concern.
7.3 How to cancel or reschedule
Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be communicated directly to your assigned mentor via the platform's messaging feature or through the official WhatsApp contact provided during onboarding. Verbal cancellations during a class will not be accepted.
7.4 Public holidays
Classes may be affected by public holidays in India or in the student's country of residence. Affected classes will be rescheduled with mutual agreement between the mentor and the parent.
Fees and payment
8.1 Current fee structure
